Skip Gunship batlle in ICC

Hi Guys,

Not a massive game breaker but saved me a couple of minutes.

I rolled an ICC 10 heroic yesterday solo for shits n giggles more than anything

Any how - on the gunship battle, i wasn't paying attention too much, began the encounter jumped on one of the cannons, got to the point where you need to jump ship to kill the mage and well missed - fell to my death.

Upon re-entering i found that i could portal (using the the first portal point at the entrance) directly to the Death-bringer Saurfang boss skipping the ship (no loot) but it did speed things up.

Not sure if this is an exploit or intended - but it sure did speed things up a bit.

Edit: Couldn't test, accidentally 2 shot the ship before healths' were even shown

And you could start the Deathbringer Saurfang boss encounter?




( Btw, "if you are there to farm the mount", why going 10hc? you will be saved at 10heroic/10normal+25normal. and you can't enter LK 25heroic? )

Seems pointless since Gunship practically gets oneshotted, that the cannons scale with ilvl.

I don't think you even need to skip this now; the gun damage now scales with your gear and ultimately you can kill the enemy gunship before the fight has even begun with 1 large cannon shot.

Yesterday I Did the ICC25 Ship, one shotted and got the loot... but on Saurfang event, killed the boss and got no chest loot as usual.... is the loot removed?

The loot took a minute to appear for me. but this was only 10HC

Chest is spawned in the right corner of boss fight.

I think what happened is that you actually killed the gunship and jumped, then fell after the ship had died. Considering killing the ship takes about 2 shots now.

You're probably right. As said if the mods can remove the post - dont want to waste any more of peoples time
