Havnt tried this myself, a friend just told me recently (his guild is attempting it this week i believe). During phase 2 when you pick up the core's, the player that picked up the core Alt-f4's and stays out of the game (make sure he is kept alive till he leaves). Keep repeating this until 4 people have a core. Then when you ready have those 4 people log back on. Apparently the cores reset when lady vash does, so if your not in the game you keep them. Instant phase 2.

There is also a wall jump you can do to get over the bridge. But thats probably been posted here already.

Problem however, is the whole raid would have to be cool with it.

If you're going to complete phase 2 anyway, why would you want to waste time by saving cores just to wipe and start all over?

many reasons, why struggle for 8 minutes to get the cores down when you just can just reset her and save 8 minutes worth of mana.

perhaps for guilds struggling on her? We only just started on her and phase 2 definitly seems to be the main part of the fight.

confirmed. ez way when u struggle in p2. just pick up the cores. then make the kill try. when u go instant p3 everybody will have full hp&full mana.

Confirmed working, we found this out too when learning the fight, however if you don't have the DPS to get through phase 2 you will probably hit the soft enrage in phase 3 anyways.

It does, but you can't bring them outside of TK.

We had a lock DC on phase 4 of Kael, and when he came back in he had the staff still, but it still despawns nonetheless.

Afraid I dont understand, my guild has killed Vashj twice, but I mean, if you have to wait for 4 people to get the core anyways, why bother to log out? The tainted elementals doesnt spawn more often just because someone logs out. Or does she reset the first time somebody DC's?

Its for guilds having trouble on vash, if you think your going to wipe more then 3 or 4 times attempting her, just do this, and your phase 2 will be instant when u have 4 cores. You can also walljump your way to lady vash without having to kil any other bosses, youtube it and youl find it.

This does not work. Either it's been fixed, or there's more information to it, but we just tried this not 5 minutes ago and the person that logged in did not have a core on them.

We tried it by logging in after she's reset (so nobody is in combat) and the cores were gone.

And we tried it by having the players log in as soon as Phase 2 started, and they were still gone.


Save yourself a repair bill and time.
