Bag resets

My Blackmarket container that I've keep all the way from 5.0.4 til now did NOT change it's loot.
And this was proofen to be fixed a major patch ago AFAIK.

As others mentioned before me this does NOT work with Black Market Containers.

For confirmation: I did this with 5.4 -> 6.0 patch. I was JPS capped and when doing my weekly VP capping via Hscens, i would get the Cache Boxes containing usually gold/boe/and jps, and take out all the contents except the JPS that i couldnt hold any more of. I had around 50 of these containing ONLY 60jps in them in my bank. Curious if they would turn to straight gold profit, i opened them on 6.0 patch day and they had boes and gold in them again. Effectively duping their contents.

I remember using this method on primal eggs to get all 3 raptors.. worked like a charm back then.. knowing this might still work got plans to farm certain bags for next patch

This topic has been brought up so many times during the years seriously.... Once upon a time you could just server transfer with landros gift boxes and the loot would change... that got fixed. Then people discovered it would change for every patch... that got changed... and heck at one point it didnt even had a GCD so people just spammed opened it with an auto clicker (that is fixed aswell) and no I dont think this patch thing works (yet again)

Tried this... i have 4 boxes in my bank, none of them changed still Onyxian drake (Got it Already) Pvp Gloves, Tier 3 Priest chest and a pair of Mage t3 shoulders

There seems to be some difference of opinion on this but I can assure you they do reset, there maybe some hidden mechanic at work to where some people's bags do/don't but I have an excel sheet that I just updated with 6.0.2 and can absolutely promise you every single bag I own was reset on my "bag bearers" and I was able to re-loot gold from lockboxes and check for mounts. Perhaps for the people it hasn't worked for something that triggers this hasn't been complete as WoW's coding is quite complex it could be something as widespread that any account that's ever had a character transfer done triggered their bags to reset on patches account wide all the way down to only people who have put that bag in the bank at some point does/ does not reset there are millions of variables that may cause this to happen which is probably why it's not fixed.

stockpiled up on scenario boxes after 4k JP cap, only left JP inside @ 5.4. With 6.0 i only got a few motes of harmony out of it, nothing worth farming over.

BEWARE:

Uncheking auto-loot no longer applies to WoD BMAH boxes!!!

I've bought 4 of these on release date on different servers and uncheking auto-loot was working as usual container. Now seems like they fixed container type. Loot window does not pop-up anymore, only message that you've won something. Sadface.

edit: if you'd like to check your old boxes if they've reseted then be prepared you might loose the box.
