WoD PvP ilvl ilvl clever use of game mechanics

Hi sorry if already posted but did not saw this in first two pages so giving it a try:

In WoD, PvP Gear is low itemlevel, but has an effect to greatly increase its ilvl while in PvP Combat (to 690, Mythic Raiding is 695)

My suggestion is that you can buy a 2nd Account with LV90 Boost of the opposite faction, start Combat with your Main, and then just camp that char near your main to get an increased ilvl for soloing Elites or AoE Farming fast-respawning mobs etc.

You could chargeback the money a few times and purchase additional accounts to recreate this trick.

I really doubt that the increased ilvl will work on NPCs. This can be tested of course, even on the beta, but the common sence is that while hitting Players, you should do damage as 690, but while hitting NPCs, it should be your common ilvl scale.

It would come down to if the internal scaling "buffs" you or "debuffs" the, if you get some internal buff while doing pvp (which may make sense so you do more damage to pets, totems etc too) then its possible that hitting NPCs during pvp combat would do 690 damage towards the npc as well but as said, this isn't the place for theories.

Nope. It happens every time you're engaging in combat with a player.

This is not an exploit, blizzard knew about this and they tweeted a few different times mentioning that they are fine with you doing this if you want to take the time to do it.

I just shared my thoughts, since I read no practical tests on the theory you sharing.

Since there is already certain Blue tweets regarding this, and it actually works, you will have everyone's admiration!
