Transport supercharged warlock dots through zones

Instructions:

1) Find overpowered zone buff, eg stack "survival instincts" from the bears in western plaguelands.
2) Affliction warlock casts dots on hunter pet of opposite faction.
3) Hunter dismisses pet.
4) Hunter and warlock travel to something they want to kill eg world boss.
5) Hunter resummons dot-ed pet.
6) Warlock uses soul swap and exhales onto npc.

In theory the damage from this could be limitless, in practice there are several other hurdles, notably
trying to keep the pet alive if the damage is very high.

As I said in the video, this is a very advanced shit only for exploiters who want a real challenge. No one
should attempt this if they aren't prepared for a lot of hassle and frustration. I did consider not posting
this at all, but I figured it was better to give people the option.

With the bears there's an old video where a warrior tags the mobs off a friend using a taunt mechanic and gets all the buffs all at once.The same should be possible with a pet taunt. EDIT: video here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqKIX2wc4FQ, they stacked it to 23.

Btw This isn't the only buff that could be used. A simple approach would be to use black blood of y'shaarj with 10 stacks, and all the op TI buffs and other procs. That would be a lot of dps on each hunter pets, not sure if it would be enough to kill a world boss. Instance buffs (eg TOT) could theoretically be used if you can get a player with a malfuctioning mind control dish (turns them hostile so they can receive op dots), but would require a lot of patience as the malfunction chance is 5% or less, and you can't dot pets that way.

Yeah, it certainly would. In fact it works with any minion including mage elementals and death knight ghouls. Warlocks and hunters have
the advantage that you can dot a lot of pets and soul swap each of them.

Yeah, snapshotting goes in WOD so this particular play won't be viable when that happens. Dots will
be based on the current spellpower of the warlock rather than at the moment they west cast. Unless,
of course, you can zone out and acquire the buff and this dynamically affects the dots in the zone you
left, but it seems very unlikely that will happen.

That said not all forms of snapshotting will be gone and Blizzard probably won't be thinking so much
about this type of angle, so there'll be opportunities in the future for this type of thing. There's a trinket
I'm very interested in....

There is a VERY EASY way to keep your pet from dying from the dots. (Must be a beastmastery hunter)

Glyph of Endless Wrath - Item - World of Warcraft prevents your pet from dying for 10 seconds.

Combine that with Yaungol Slayer Battlegear - Item Set - World of Warcraft and that's 16 seconds of invincibility on your pet to make transporting the dots stupid easy.

Pop bestial wrath as soon as you get the super OP dots on your pet, dismiss and by the time you re summon it at your destination bestial wrath will be off cooldown so you can pop it again QUICKLY before the dots rape your pet and give the warlock time to soul swap the dots back off the pet.

I actually mentioned bestial wrath in the video but I forgot that you need it glyphed to make the pet invincible, thanks for that.
Did not know about the Yaungol gear, that could be useful for this and a ton of other things.

Your approach will work with anything except massive haste buffs on dots. I'm not certain offhand whether it is possible to
click fast enough, even when spamming it, if you have a dot ticking at 2500% haste, before the pet dies.

made it to 10 mio haste, but didnt manage to find a proper way to keep the dots up:/
