Glad everyone is enjoying thisWould love for someone to test in arena and let us know if it works.
Also, I'm redoing the entire MoP quest chain, so stay tuned everyone.

Confirmed to be working in RBG's. Didn't work in Mines though.

It's funny you posted this when you did because I was just inquiring about another old exploit that does the very same thing via a different quest. Here's a link to it. http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...-anywhere.html (World of Warcraft: Bypass BG and Arena starting zone, and XYZ anywhere) . And the reason I was asking about it, besides wondering if it were fixed, is because I too wanted to use it in Arena. But they said that one didn't work there. Maybe this one does though. Would love to know as well.

Ya seriously... I have a toon at lvl 58 at the moment I could power lvl to 68 through Outlands fairly quick and start looking. Just curious, what side of questing you planning on starting on, Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord? I can just do the opposite side and start looking for this stuff in old quests too. I am very interested in keep it going.

Does not work in arena
i wish u would of told me this was horde side only.
Since they nerfed early flag capping it is a little harder to find game advantages from early starts.
One angle that can be used in Isle Of Conquest is to run to the alliance keep, and then put a chair
down just as the gate is coming up, exactly as done in this video (at 3:10) but from the outside:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIMHlI5Adck
The entire horde team would then be able to run through the gate into the alliance keep and
start bombing without any need to capture anything. Horde would then be able to actually win,
which is becoming a feat of strength in Warlords of Draenor.

This is awesome, but probably so bannable....
Epic as usual
Sorry guys for my question, maybe is very stupid...but:
How can we use this in our benefit in RBGs or ARENAs?
Thinking, of course, in realistic terms, because we cannot go to LM for example and cap it in 2 seconds, or we will be reported for sure...so how would you exploit this?
And in Arenas???
Reports aren't the problem. The flags don't actually spawn until 20-30 seconds after the bg starts, the exact length of time depending on how long it would take to run
to the flag normally. So, capping in 2 seconds isn't possible.
An obvious strategy in bg's like arathi or gilneas is to run to the opponent's starting area and engage them all in combat, blowing your defensive cooldowns. You
won't last long, but you'll prevent them mounting and that will slow them down considerably to the extent that your teammates should cap first. In a fairly
balanced game the team that caps first almost always wins.
I doubt you would get reported for this unless you engage them too quickly.
In general coming up with bg exploits that work in arena and rbg and don't get reported is not easy. Anything your opponents can see will get noticed, so
anything like early start or taking the flag to inaccessible locations will get at least a temp ban eventually.
This might be an interesting topic for another thread: what exploits are truly undetectable in pvp? The only things I can think of offhand would be the use
of hunter debuffs or something like my recent warlock exploit where the warlock ports inside the walls of a building (undetectable as no one can see where
the warlock actually is). There are probably others, but I can't think of them offhand.

So...is there no Alliance side equivalent to this?
