EU technical maintenance is normally finished on wednesday so 72h + 48h = latest possible spawntime = monday evening/night.

i was in a cross realm group earlier and when i exited the group the game kept switching realms for some reason and i was getting the instance transfer aborted message???

Yes by someone who has a lvl 90 on Argent Dawn, Frostwolf or Draenor, then with a little luck you might get what you need

We think so. This exploit is Online, since last week and Blizzard will definetly know about this.
So, I think it will be fixed tomorrow. So use it, at your own risk and while you can !
