Solo BT trash, Mother Sharaz

As of todays patch non-elite mobs will no longer drop bop epics, patterns, hearts or marks until you kill a certain number of mother shahraz pulls. Best way around this is to make a group to kill the first few pulls and then you can go back to soloing.

Hey guys, just got a quick question i remeber seeing this a while back and seeing as now i can do this my self i and i am a hunter. i remember seeing a vid of this in a hunter PoV and could not find it in this post or by anyone else (may not be putting in right things in search but i did try alot) so if anyone has the link for the hunter PoV vid of doing this it would be much appreaicted

this still works in 2.3, did it on a shadow priest

you can kill the first/middle mob in the big pack of 10
it respawns after every kill when they reset, so you can farm forever

best advice i can give is stay at max range (35+ yards away) at all times or you will get some heavy poison dmg over time

for a hunter , non stop running, immolation trap whenver its up, keep serpent sting up, and jump-turn-arcane shots

really would like to know if the Temple Concubines still drop hearts and epics. There elite..... not sure if blizzard nerfed them killed 9 so far and no drops. can anyone confirm they still drop epics after 2.3?

It dropped like one gold, it would be faster to just quickly kill 3 normal mobs. They have a low drop rate for anything good so its not very worth it.

Keep trying for the epic gems, HoD's, pat's, i smell the moneh!

Guys this is useless now...
In 2.3 they nerfed them, they can't drop BT quality items anymore. All they drop now is a few silver, and some BT rep.
You don't have to believe me, but blizzard was aware of this solo-able trash and nerfed it. If you don't believe me, proove me wrong! Go to BT, solo it and give me screenshots with the date and something to proove its patch 2.3

THIS STILL WORKS!

blizzard fixed the GRUNTS, the single and double pulls (gurtoggs trash) - these were incredibly easy to farm

the mother trash (temple concubines) are still soloable and still drop epics. the drop-rate sucks compared to the grunts, though. after many hours of farming i only got 2 epic gems and 1 HoD, no epic items/patterns.

also, gurtogg trash was a lot easier to farm because there were less limitations in getting there.

in order to even farm mother trash, you have to kill gurtogg, teron gorefiend, and RoS to even open the door. it seems like a very rare occurance for a guild to open mother door and then stop for the night and leave trash for farming.
