With Gaze of the Black Prince I've been getting a shards from every boss like how it is with sigils etc

My friend and I was ICC yesterday and he has loot 6 Shadowfrost Shard. Its random. The Buff not increased the droprate of this.

Did ICC last night, got 7 shards, which isn't unusual. A couple weeks ago without the buff I got 11. RNG is RNG sorry to say.

Like others have said, it seems to just be RNG (I only got 4 the week the buff went live on my DK). Besides, I think Saionara was more so going along the lines of not being allowed to post theories in this section.

Yea.. This is a good point. Guess I just glanced over it. The buff has been active before and I never noticed an increase in Shadowfrost shard or Fragment of Val'Anyr droprates while getting them on alts. Guess it's impossible to confirm but yeah.

I got 3 this week. Needed 8 for shadowmourne and got ****ing 3...

Even if the buff DID work on shadowfrost shards 2x of whatever low ass drop rate shards are is still pretty low, and the people who are actually keeping track to check if it DOES affect the drop rate (people here and on boards that read repost/OC) is so abysmally small as a test group, its pretty much impossible to even know for sure.
