Sad? At the current rate of progress we can expect 6.0 sometime around 2017

Well some good news. Apparently warcraft logs is about to start marking all hunter rankings who use stampede exploits as "invalid" so that will draw a lot of attention off future debuff finds. Since that will pretty much discourage top ranking hunters in finding further stampede debuffs and logging them and posting it up on sites where the world can clearly see the debuffs used.

It won't have any effect on world of logs sadly but the good thing about WoL is that I found that most times it doesn't show debuffs on pets like warcraft logs does.
