Was using this yesterday (2014-05-11), tried again this morning (2014-05-12) and seems fixed. Macro no longer lags the character.

mckemo, I didn't expect the macro to work at all when I first tried it (3-4 days ago) but to my surprise, it worked perfectly. Today, however, was the first day since I started using it that it actually did not lag my character, so I figured I'd let the thread know.

Edit: Interesting, today (2014-05-13), the macro now works again, and I didn't change anything. Maybe it was just me.

Looks like Blizzard has "fixed" the use of this exploit in BGs... in their usual fashion. Was the lag mechanic itself fixed? No. Instead, you can not summon Ethereal Soul Trader pet while in BGs any longer.

Cant try it myself cause i dont have one but i wonder if the bg exploit would work with a jeeves.... hope someone can test sense the soul trader fix.

The lag mechanic itself still works. You can try it with jeeves, mammoth or guild pet.

You can use Traveler's Tundra Mammoth and use other version of macro which goes like this.
