Quit discussing whether or not this will get you banned and stay on topic. As with virtually everything on OwnedCore, especially regarding Blizzard games, of course you can get banned. You can be banned for doing absolutely nothing, as per Blizzard's EULA -- Is the chance of that low to non-existent? Of course.

Arguing about the ban chance of something like this does not forward the topic of discussion -- In this thread, that would be the exploration potential of the items mentioned in OP and other similar items.
