Made this tool to help a bit on the coloring:
Colorizator (v2)
In-game screen: http://i22.tinypic.com/2zf4v2e.jpg
Not sure if it works or if it contains bugs but looked fine in Firefox at least.

This is pretty neat, mind if i put it in the original post? with props to you that is.
Oh yeah, and about the "rainbow" i'm able to do it with the old one, but the new one i have no idea where to go ( unless i have to pick every color 1 by 1 and just enter the color codes on my own) what did you do to make the yellow turn to red?
+rep for you =)
I was trying " /script GuildRosterSetPublicNote(0,"\124ccc3399".."Sex muffin!") " but its not working anyone have an idea why?
I tried out that script and same for me, nothing happened. So I think what your script is missing is the ' ff ' in front of your "cc3399" Hope that solved your problem
Oh and maybe you're going to have to change the guild member number, which in your case you have "0", I tested with guild memeber number "0" as well and seemed like no person's public note updated :/ but that might of course just because someone in your guild actually has that number and no one has in mine :P
You've got it wrong mammin!
/script GuildRosterSetPublicNote(0,"\124cffcc3399".."Sex muffin!")
there has to be a \ before the 124, you were right though, he was missing ff ( cc3399 is 6 numbers, 6 bits, you want to add ff or FF at the begining of that to make it 8 bit, a normal color code. )
As for the 0, 0 doesnt exist. it ranges from 1 to ??? depending on how many people are in your guild.
follow the steps on my first post to figure out which number you are, or the person targeted in guild is.
how do you copy and paste into wow?
Prat can do that, download it and enable "copychat/copycat" it pops up a little faded/transparent square on the top left of your chat windows and when you click on it, its opens a window where you can copy the entire content of that specific chat window. ( also has some neat features that puts level beside names, and colored names depending on class, stuff like that =) ) look at the screenshot on my first post, i'm using it there.
Client side or server side?
Serverside
You dont need a program to copy/paste into wow. Control+C to copy Control+V to paste works fine.
Wow thanks!
Heh, this is sweet ^^
is there an updated GUILDMOTD script cuz i try the 1 posted and it dosnt seem to work
