Completly ignore mind controlls on Garrosh

Discovered something nice progressing heroic today, a way to "skip" mindcontrols.

Garrosh will always cast his abilities in one of these orders:

Desecrate - Mind Controll - mega AOE.

So, as you see, desecrate is always first, therefore if you stand in desecrate it making your hp go below 20% and the mindcontroll will instantly dispell itself.

    Enjoy.

On heroic the desecrate ticks for about 175k dmg, so it doesn't take more than 3-4 seconds to get to 20%

You dont take damage from desecrate when ur MC, same as you don't take damage from the amber on Klaxxi if you get drawn by the devour whole.

You got time to stand in it, and take dmg before the MC applies.

But why, on HC we break ppl out in about 1sec and we don't take any risks of random deaths.

Hi sir, would you like to please provide screenshots, because according to wowhead's database, Touch of Y'shaarj heals the target for 100% of their hp. Standing in the weapon will more likely wipe you faster than the MC will.

Not every desecrate before mc, there is one desecrate (3rd or 4th in p2 (Also being 7th or 8th etc) that is desecrate>whirling corruption>mc . so pay attention :O

This does not work. Even if it did, it wouldn't be an exploit. I am willing to bet that this is just speculation because for one... standing in desecrate on purpose and dropping below 20% will probably get you killed... Secondly, when you get MC'd you get healed to full health specifically so that it doesn't take less time to DPS down any of the MCs.... and lastly, smart heals from any healer in the raid will most definitely prevent it from happening even if MC didn't heal you to 100%. This thread is 100% speculation, it's incorrect, and it should be closed. Thanks.

The mind controls heal your character and give you a lot more hp.

This wouldn't work even with people talking about how dangerous it is.

if you're already on heroic garrosh you should be a good enough player to break them out from damage long before anything happens. this mechanic is only hard for terrible players, for top tier players this is literally nothing.

Nobody said it had to be done on heroic ^

    Anyway, as mentioned:
First of all: does not work, as getting MC'd heals you to 100% hp, and you do not take damage from it while MCd.
Second: Even if it did work it wouldn't be an exploit.
    Third: No theories
Fourth: I'm not a complete dick so thanks for trying!

Seems like this isn't working due to players getting healed to 100% when the Mind Control is cast.

    Also. [No speculation]
