Seeing as no one has bothered to actually explain this fully, the way I did it was by going to SM GY and attacking the first boss that spawns adds, alt f4 and you'll still be logged in, and yes it works with the valor glitch in the legendary questline, I just did it with a character on a completely different server to the one I left at SM and on the same account (actual same account, not two accounts on the same bnet account).

Go to a low lvl dungeon like stockades or ragefire chasm, and pull a mob, but don't kill it I think that alternative still works.

Since you are in combat the whole time, your gear goes down over time. Might take a few hours but it goes down eventually.

Simply closes the logout box once it appears. Not usable in places with instant logout such as cities and inns.

Because it still works and I found it very useful amd hadn't seen the method before.

What is the alternative? Start a new one and get accused of copying or duplicating posts?

just go in rfk or stockades and have a mob hit you but dont kill it. You wont ever afk out of the game, people use this to avoids serer ques.
