Use Moonfang Mount after "Darkmoon Faire"

Kaizuken here.
It's nothing special but you can use Moonfang mount even after Darkmoon Faire.
The item is only avaiable during "Darkmoon Faire" but with these steps you can use it after the faire.
1. Get this item "Shimmering Moonstone" from Moonfang
2. Destroy it.
3. Restore it via Battle.net Item Restorations page after the Darkmoon Fair ends.

Just wondering; How do you know this is gonna work? Is this just a theory? I mean the DMF hasn't ended yet so you can't have tested it afaik. I'm curious as to what those screenshots are of though.

It works with other Darkmoon items too... test it yourself.

Delete and restore? What is the point? You will never lose the item. It just requires DMF to use.

It's a fail.

Item that are typed into "Requires X to work" can indeed being brought back into your bag, but will be destroyed by any loadscreen & disconnection.

And that is common for people who managed to keep some event's reward bag (like the pumpkin bag) until they did add "requires event to work"....i've lost so many bags that were on my post as soon as i've got them back in my pack :'(
