personal city for AH

Hi all,

I've recently found, by accident, that a phasing issue in Theramore allows u to permanently hearth to 'purge of dalaran' and use it a as a sort of personal city for AH etc. Whilst this goes from 'novelty' to 'useless' fairly quickly, is it an exploit if there is no personal gain? apart from maybe being alone? It's the same as muting channels :P

I think that this may be useful for people having FPS issues in the main cities. Also for people AH botting 24/7 and don't want to get spotted.

the purge of dalaran is a quest chain that takes place in phased dalaran, introduced in 5.1.
quest starts here: Darnassus Attacked? - Quest - World of Warcraft

First of all, you need to ensure that you go to Theramore and set it to before the Horde destroyed it. Then you need to do all the 5.1 dailies until you get the quest that takes you to Dalaran under attack (instanced).

If you have the old version of Theramore active, you should see all of the NPC's that would normally not be there in instanced Dalaran. You can now set this version of Dalaran as to your hearth stone. The flight master also gives interesting results.

Pretty sure there are no NPCs (bank tellers, AH, etc) during that quest where you're in phased Dalaran
The quest for Horde is called "The Situation In Dalaran" btw

If Theramore is phased to before Garrosh destroyed it, you have all the NPC's including the 'hearthstone' npc's and the flight point. If you take a flight anywheer it just takes you to unmapped terrain and disconnects you. Or it kills you and sends you to westfall.
