200% Running Speed while on the Timeless isle - Doesn't wear off, only at logout

I've found this cool exploit that allows you to have 200% movement speed without being on a mount. You are able to cast spells and shot while running at this speed.

Method -> First off you'll need an invite from a friend on another realm. - imgur: the simple image sharer -
Accept the invite and as soon as people and npcs start to disappear, use your mount and your friend to leave as soon you're on his server. - imgur: the simple image sharer -
After you get back on your own server. Simply dismount and you'll have 200% movement speed.

Note: You'll have normal movement speed in water, but it does not reset when you get on land again.

Can confirm, happened to me but didn't understand why. But now it makes sense ^^

Edit: DO NOT use speed increases, they WILL drop your 200%. (Glyphs too!) Aswell, I think if you do this in the fatique zone, with a flyer (Or not in the fatigue zone) you will keep your flier too. (Speculation : https://i.imgur.com/n7VO8ry.jpg , I have no mount buff but i DO have my flier and flying ability. )

Yeah you're right but I think they move that post to elite and i'm not elite user so i can't link it. But I read this like 5-7 days ago and try it in the same way than in this post.

he is right it may be a repost, i cant find the link, but it was something with the druid flight form/flight mount, allowing you to do this. ive seen my mates use it/talk about it

This doesn't work. Had a friend cross realm invite me from stormwind while I was on timeless and the NPCs/Players do not fade out.
Repeated multiple times to the same conclusion.

Does the friend have to be inviting you from timeless isles? Or from a higher pop server?

If they do not fade out, you must be higher level than him, aka he is not 90lvl, or you are in combat etc., which avoid you from phasing to his realm.

be sure that you have no *small* speedbuffs like 10% running speed as Deathknight ... this will reset your speed

This works everywhere in Azeroth, just use the zone change (where crossrealm is active without having to group with people from other realms) instead a crossrealm invite.
Figured this out while doing dailies at the Argent Tournament

You can even fly if flying is permitted in the zone:

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this was fixed... and I think it was my fault. I was doing it a much easier way. Simply mount and accept a group inv to another server and the mount buff would disappear but I'd still have 100% movement speed. Went overboard with it and used it to solo Xuen, eventually got a speed boost from a priest bubble and it got removed. Been trying it for the past hour with oqueue and I simply can't do it.

EDIT: 200% movement speed.
