Items around this time are rather created by duped mats, instead of "clever use of game mechanics" like releveling ing

you can get the mount from the gift of blingtron 4000 , I believe ,so he just got lucky

That Ilidan one is made from a well-known exploit in China servers (think about how many Asian players in Illidan). Together with another exploits, they've been there since the launch of MoP.

With the first exploit you can make up to 30 or 40 mats(or more) that use daily reset in one day, and it becomes widely known only after Sky-Golem and 553 BoEs in 5.4 since you need a bunch of CDs for really good stuff. In the past I think someone already did so to make more bags, and most of the old CD-based items are not worth the effort I guess.
The second is somewhat similar to the one in this thread but involves a bit different mechanism. And the best you can get is just one or two more CD-based mat each day.

Blizzard seems to have acknowledged that so I'll save the effort of describing them here. Get someone who reads Chinese and search for it, it's literally everywhere...and very easy to track at BLZ's side.

i can tell you it's been fixed in China. During 2:45-3:00 am invite 2v2 war game and then you will find there is no CD any more. 30 mats per day

tried last Wednesday on Engineering and Blacksmithing none of them worked, after the maintenance both remained on cooldown.
