Now, folks, this sounds alot like some lag glitch or what not, but this actually works X).

Step 1. Put WoW on an external hardrive.

Step 2. Make sure the external harddrive cord is within reach (it really helps to have it plugged into a laptop, hence the cord is right next to you.)

    Step 3. Expirement!

Now, the External harddrive is constantly sending info throught the cord into your computer. So, by nudging it out so it is only half way in, or by pulling it out quickly and puting it back in, you can acheive such things as:

    1. Stay mounted in Non-Mount areas. You may call this useless, but I have often used this to run through instances. And for folks like horde, when in SW or IF and being chased by ally, being able to run into Deeprun and stay mounted is a blessing.

    2. Trick enemies in PvP. If you press Num Lock while at the same time nudging your cord out, you will appear to be running forward to the enemy, but when you reload you will be where you left off from. This is really useful in WSG so that enemies will waste time chasing a fake FC.

    3. Looting! I have had a bit of trouble w/ this, but I have got it to work a few times. All you have to do is open the loot window while simutameously pulling the cord, putting it back in, looting, pulling it out, then once you put it back in you can loot it again (and repeat for that matter). Only got it to work on a few trash mobs, but I imagine this would be great for looting bosses w/ good gear over and over.

Now alot of folks are quite reluctant to pull the cord, because they fear it could damage their comp or hardrive or watever. While this may happen, it is quite unlikely. Some save (but less effective) alternatives are:

    1. You may notice your external harddrive restarts ever half an hour or so for a second. If you are leet, you can make that half an hour close to a minute. With rapid restarts, you should be able to pull some stunts off.

    2. Stepping on the cord (hehe). Putting wieght on the cord can stop flow to the computer, so it is an alternative. This is the least effective and has the most potiental of damage, so I suggest you only do this if drunk.

    Peace.
Get Net limiter, way safer cause its just software.... And im pretty sure you cant get double looot.

You don't need to use external hard drives, limiting or disconnecting from the internet does the same thing.

Oh well... you better be wealthy though, cause if something(as a matter of fact anything) is being written on the hd, chances are good youll loose all ur data or you may even destroy your drive... wouldnt do this too often.
