I believe this method has been fixed and patched up. I followed the directions and made sure that the codes were expired. However, as soon as I restored them and picked them up from the mailbox, they INSTANTLY disappeared from my bags.

Yep , I and others confirmed that already.Helms get removed once you get them in the bag and teleport.

The item restoration method did not work for me.
