Survivor's Bag of Coins + Engineering

You can use the Survivor's Bag of Coins whilst using the Goblin Glider, this allows you to gain altitude and travel very far distances!

Simply use a coin to project yourself then use your goblin glider at max height, from then on just keep throwing coins under yourself as you get close to the ground.

So if you are leveling in MoP and you (obviously) cant fly, then you could use this to get to different zones in no time!

That's a rogue-only item so far as I know. It can be obtained by mages who have some method of seeing ghosts, but the only way I know of doing that is by using an item no longer obtainable in game.

*EDIT* What I wrote is bullshit. I shouldn't take stuff wowhead at face value. There is no currently known method of getting this item for non-rogues. See below for more detail.

It can only be used where you can fly, and cannot be used in Pandaria unless you have Panda-land flying, as far as I know.

On it's wowhead the top comment also says this.

Mage's can now however acquire this item if they are also Engineering.

1. Make sure you have [Glyph of Illusion] equip it.

2. Go to 70.6, 50.6 in Hillsbrad Foothills where you will find Reislek's Ghost at the top of the mountain. (He can be reached without a flying mount by running up the hill from Ravenholdt Manor.) Edit: Note that without the ability to use flying mounts, the bag itself is not usable.

3. Walk to the north down the hill (can't mount while disguised) to Ravenholdt Manor and go downstairs to the basement.

4. Cast Illusion while targeting Reislek's Ghost (check the General tab of your spellbook) to reveal the ghost "Orsur" under the stairs.

5. Using your engineering item Extra-Dimensional Ghost Revealer you can see Orsur and talk to him to acquire the item.

6. Talk to him to receive Survivor's Bag of Coins.

Interesting point, even if mages can't use it. I don't have that much time today, but maybe it might work with this illusion potion from the AH or somebody who has alchemy? If that's the case everybody can get this bag, and maybe, sooner or later, it might be useful.

For the people who wonder

I don't believe this works.

Glyph of illusion doesn't copy NPC's appearance. Apart from rogues glyph of disguise nothing in the game does that. Try it: you can stand on top of Reislek while targetting him: you just get transformed into a random character

Extra-dimensional ghost revealer isn't in the game anymore. If you are one of five people in the universe who still have it in their bags from the last expansion, then all it will do is show Orsur as a hostile ghost, you can't interact with him.
