+800 Agility buff at all times (Bloodchoked Chitin Fragment)

As some of you may know, the item Bloodsoaked Chitin Fragment - Item - World of Warcraft gives 80 agility for 2 minutes per kill.

Normally when you unequip a trinket, the buff will be gone as well, but since the last hotfix this item is bugged and the buff remains even upon equiping other trinkets.

The trick is to get the 10 stacks of agility. Simply re-equip the trinket every 1.5 minute and kill an experience yielding monster to keep the stack up at 10.

Confirmed, the buff stays for the duration it had before swapping the trinket (if you had 1min 50sec left, you will have the 800 agi bonus for that duration), but doesn't re-apply unless you trinket swap every now and then.

So what you're saying is you have to swap the trinket back to that, kill mobs, then swap it back? Because you cannot swap it in combat which makes it seems like a huge waste of time. Cannot be used in raids unless on trash and then boss which is pointless since you will die on the boss most likely and have no trash to redo it. Dungeons and scenarios probably but they're easy as hell anyway. PvP i'm also sure it's not very good.

Going by what you post did say, this is not working. That quote states you can switch trinket and still kill mobs to get the buff which isn't correct. The first part of your post was on the other hand.

    1) Equip the Fragment
    2) Kill mobs
    3) Equip other trinket
    4)Equip the Fragment
    5) Repeat steps 2-5

Doesn't this seem like a massive hassle for 8/10's of a flask?

might be worth doing in CMs if you have a on use/high mainstat proc trinket as swap, simply stack the fragment on trash, get the on use/proc trinket equiped pre boss and have both active

You seem to be stretching to be negative about this post..... Being able to pull a raid boss with over a minute of 800 stat is still a bonus, regardless of how much hassle you may feel it to be.

Above said, if you have two RPPM trinkets I probably would not try that as changing you trinkets resets your proc protection and will lower the chance you get a (more powerful) proc on the pull, and likely be a net loss.

    .
How often have you killed 10 mobs just before you engage a hard raid boss ( if its easy there is no need for the 800 main stat) without taking 1-2 minutes break for drinking/buffing?

Every time we clear from a dead boss to an alive boss.

I have editted the post, thank you for the reply Turkey11. Also +Rep to Zizzzzy and Sengiratolom for the positive feedback and attitude.

While 800 agi may not be much to people who are not minmaxing, in a HC raid environment that 800 agi for 1~2 minutes is a huge buff in the initial burst phase. Some may call heroic raiding a hassle due all the minmaxing and tweeking of specs, gear, reforges and stats. That 800 agi may be the difference between beating a hard mode boss and wiping.

Many of you HC raiders out here will know this: Wiping at the last 1~3%
