Stuff like this USED to work ALL the time. Like i used to farm oozing bags for the disgusting oozling pet to sell all day, if there wasnt any in the bag i would leave it in bank till the reset and it would be differant items. Now i havent tried in a long long time to do this again, but im willing to bet that the item in the box will reset on a patch day.

Does a server crash really reset these items?

There was a post a while back about main content patches(5.2, 5.3 etc) resetting some containers that was confirmed working but I've never heard of weekly resets resetting them.

I bought the first available container when they hit the BMAH a few weeks back. In this time, several ID´s have passed and i made a char transfer etc.. It still contains the same item.. so what you saying is wrong.. close please

On Topic: this exploit does indeed seem fishy, but pronounce yourselves when the reset comes. I'll test it on Wednesday and update.

ok this does work just not how the OP said.. he obvs got this from another thread without paying much attention...

if u hold it till major patches it resets.. not weekly resets... so come 5.4 itll be a diff item...

works like this for every bag.. my pally tank has about 100 satchels from LFD tanking ..

if u do a search ull find posts confirming this

thing is though is it worth buying and holding on for months at a time IMO if u can get em cheap and get a few then yes as they can hold invincible and mims head.. its a patience thing

Doesn't the box award you the loot in the LFR style where it just pops up the item that you "won" from it? I bought one and thats what it did.
