Flying in non-flyable zones (E.g - Ghostlands, Eversong Woods)

I've searched through the forums and have not found anything related so if needed to be, move to a different section. To perform this glitch you will need to go to somewhere you cannot use a ground/flying mount. In my case I was using Snowy Gryphon. It may be hard to find a place where you cannot use the mount so just mount up and ride around until you are dismounted. I first discovered this on accident after performing the exploration glitch found in bjjones13 thread on Zul'aman exploration as in the some parts of the cliffs, my Snowy Gryphon was not allowed and I was using Lag7 to try to keep my Speed of light up. Two ways are shown below to get to this area:

    1) http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...d-zulaman.html (Instanced/Uninstanced Zul'Aman)
Use this guide to and also +rep to Hurricaanz for finding this glitch (I think, or at least for showing us guys how to do it). Once you're there explore around on a Gryphon or similar ground/flying mount you could use in dungeons until you get dismounted.

    2) Stand outside the portal to Ghostlands from Eastern Plaguelands (On your ground/flying mount) and open up Lag7 and set it to 5-8 seconds. (9+ seems to be a disconnect). Go through the portal, wait to load and don't move. I noticed sometimes I am flying once I get through. Once you're there and not dismounted, press your hotkey for lag 7 and fly left up the cliffs or right up the cliffs and land somewhere safe. The same applies for strategy one but need some timing. This is not a hard glitch to perform at all. In strategy one once you find that location, start casting your mount and as soon as you see your mount, use lag7 for 5-8 seconds. If done right you'll now be able to fly. Make sure you land somewhere safe before 1 second after Lag7 finishes otherwise you may find yourself falling to your death.

Thanks for reading and please post replies on the finds you get and comments on this strategy.

EDIT: This works with all flying mounts as long as you find that space you get dismounted.

old, you can use a winsock hook or netlimiter too - search in the forum for netlimiter and you find stuff about it^^

I use quartz actionbars which tell me how much latency i've got so I can time it pretty much perfect doing that. Another way this can be performed is by mounting, and when almost done activating the Lag7, just after it finished you can fly for around 1-3 seconds depending on the lag you have ingame and your connection speed.

Turkey, please [TAG] your thread with [LAG 7] or [using LAG tool] or something. I got all excited thinking you had found a way to do this live without using a lag tool!

(I also think someone posted this previously in the Exploration forum...news correspondent Teryaki, perhaps... but I can't seem to find the link)

I'm afraid I can't test this since i'm not exactly how it works in BG's and also I do not play them. My Advanta can help with your issue, sorry.
