It does not reset, another fake post from newssneeze. I did transfer at thursday & I could not redo the quest.
Servertransfer resets every from Wotlk and below (ICC, The Eye and so on). Im not 100% sure about Cata ID's reset.
In MoP it does not reset anything.

The day of the 5.2 are LIVE, i have transfer my DK (alliance EU vs alliance EU , same Battle (Cataclysm)) and all of my MoP ID are reset.

The same day (not Wednesday, not reboot server):

- Clean MV + HoF + ToES with CrossRealm (Kael'thas EU)
- Server transfer (not faction) + rename
- Clean MV + HoF + ToES without CrossRealm in Kael'thas EU

I moved my DK probably around the release of 5.2 and the raid IDs didn't reset nor did my Valor cap.

My valor cap didn't reset BUT my ID MV/HoF/ToES YES

I tell what I found on my character, that it may be that this is rare, but anyway, it's really possible that it works on 5.3.

Well, I have to correct myself. When I did transfer my paladin, the current RaidID (ToT) did not reset, but every Wotlk/Tbc/Classic content.
When I did transfer my DK today, it did rest my current RaidID (ToT) & also every Cata content. It still did not reset my Nalak/Oondasta ID & neither my valorpoints.

But on topic, both times it did >NOT< reset my Mogu Runestones, so this is just another fake theory thread from newsneez as usual.

u wont get reset from transfer, but i had it from transfer+faction change time ago

faction change resets it not server change raid ids only

It took 11 hours for them to fix the Dungeon Resetting method.
Doesn't it seem normal to you, that they'd also fix this one within the same amount of time?

I swapped from a PVE realm to an RPPVP server with my guild on Monday 2 weeks ago (50% said above was an alt).

I can specifically remember our last raid night we got to Magaera and didn't plan to raid until Wednesday and the Tuesday before that we discovered ToT raid lockout had reset and we had to pug quite a few but managed to get to Magaera again and got some nice loot without using our dkp because we don't use dkp with pugs. I specifically remember it because we spent ages trying to find a resto shaman for bloodlust and it took forever until we decided on a pvp geared one that died most fights.

We also stayed same faction.
