found this in a arena by spamming my gateway
if you put ur gateway at max range and then cast another one right after but BEFORE
the 1st one you casted hits the ground you will have two working gateways

the purple one will always take you to the last casted and the other 2-3 green ones will always go to purple

You can only get a maximum of 5 Charges in Total - our warlock managed to pop 4 Portals ( Reforged into haste, and had all haste buffs including blood lust).


But as soon as his buff reached 0 (The other portals still had 1 charge each according to the floating balls) we couldn't use any of them anymore.

Wonder if you can cast gateway, port, cast a second gateway.... to effectively extend the max distance as the master gateway. I'll have to test this tonight.

Even with the charge cap this could find some great uses. Heroic Megaera comes to mind, being able to put a gateway for melee and a gateway for range, with the master being at the back where ice is being kited....

I doubt that's possible as you would have to wait for the gate to land before the first charge is generated.
First charge takes 3 seconds to generate. At maximum range, the portal will fly about 3.5secs, which means you would have half a second to fly, land and cast the 2nd

Odd.

I haven't cast more then two myself, but for those the following rules seem to apply.
- First (green) one becomes a dead end. Can't be ported towards but you can indefinitely keep porting from there to the purple. While it doesn't generate charges, we were able to teleport from there with 7 people (haven't tried more) so it doesn't seem to deplate charges.
- Second (green) one functions like normal. Generates and consumes charges and can be depleted.

I did mean Teleport, and indeed that global added into the mix did not leave enough time to recast gateway.

So kafa press + berserking/bloodfury + every haste buff and you can get two demonic circles? Which one did you teleport to?

no he is saying put down a gateway then port away from it then cast another so you have a extra long gateway
