Damn, you're right. We had a 5man bg premade doing this all yesterday farming for the mount. Looks like it was patched =( the only "trick" now is using the item without having to keep it. So you can still save 50 coins if you're going for the mount

The problem with this is you first need 50 bloody coins. I have TWO. That is how rare it is for me to find someone to kill.

Also, does it work without selling it back?

Here this is it:

The item that allows you to get coins from regular alliance/horde kills costs 50 coins.

If you buy the item, use it, and sell it back. You keep the buff for the 10m but don't have to spend the 50 coins

500 Coins for the mount takes forever to farm, so 50 is actually a pretty big deal



You used to be able to bypass the cd by selling it back, but since they patched it this has turned in to a simple trick to help you get the mount faster.

Also, does it work without selling it back?

Yes, but with this item you are limited to a ground mount. So whenever I que for a bg, i partner with a buddy and get the buff & sell it back before I take the que. If he has a 2 seater just hop in and farm coins. For instance i'm at 330 coins now, but if i had kept the item i'd be at 280. Just a small trick for those who are grinding out this pain in the ass mount
