Just to clarify. I know 4 people who ran. Myself and my guild leader did different runs. Both of us killed in UNDER 6 seconds. 4 for me, 4.5ish for her. Our groups both got it. The leader of another guild and a close friend of mine ran it with his guild when I told him, they killed it in 7 seconds. No one got it. Finally a PUG from one guy who managed to fill 11/10 spot in my run. He didn't get it because he was in org but he PUGd a group. They killed it in 9 seconds. No FOS.

It seems to be around 6 seconds. If it wasn't hotfixed with the morning restarts, feel free to get it following this advice. Just need 10 DPS and you can kill him in a split second. No tanks, healers, or anything else. It's a time thing and the timetable is between 1 and 6. You kids figure the rest out.

It seems that the time requirement is MUCH less than mentioned in the original post. You have to kill him in under 6 seconds, as both my group and a couple of others DID NOT get the title, and we killed it in 7 or 8 seconds. This was on US servers.

sry for my post, didnt mean to be a repost but no one really gave a proper explanation ! So i will try to :

Herald of the Titans - Achievement - World of Warcraft

1. You have to form a group which has at least Damadgedealers, which deal 100k DPS or 200k Burst
2. You have to have at least 8 DDs in a group
3. Algalon has 8,3 M HP. You have to BURN him down as fast as you can (at least 1,3 - 1,6 M Raiddps)
4. You have exactly 6 seconds time to kill him before the system detects your gear. Therefore, it only counts if you have nuked him well before he runs behind his chest
5. When you done it right, you should have nuked him to 0 in 6 Seconds. When hes walking away to his chest, just wait and see if it pops up. It will pop up when Algalon despawnes and the chest stays available !

The fight should be really easy because you only have to nuke him. Remember : you have only 6 seconds to nuke him till HE RUNS BACK, not until you have to loot the chest. When you done it right within this 6 seconds, you can just feel good and get your achievement

Do it while you can !
