Lovely Charm Farming - Unleashed Spirits

Hey everyone, I have seen many different spots for farming Lovely Charms and did not see this particular one when I searched the forums. It requires the Daily quest : Unleashed Spirits to do, which is located in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms for the Golden Lotus faction. The quest itself has you killing, you guessed it, packs of Unleashed Spirits

These are shared tagged, non-lootable npcs, giving credit for the kill and the charm as long as you do damage to them. I myself stumbled upon it when i picked up the lovely charm kit, and then proceeded to do my dailies.

30 mins of killing and I got around ~135 lovely charms. This farming method removes the competition, merely because you don't have to compete. As long as you're there, doing damage, the charms will come to you.

The only bad side, is that it IS a random daily.

I didn't think this was intended by blizzard, if I did my math right, you could potentially get 270 tokens in around 10 hrs, which if I read the other spots guides correctly, this is extremely fast in comparison.

Ehm 270 per 10h? I get 400 per hour, this spot is worthless

I'm not exactly sure how long it was, I know I popped a que for a dungeon while doing it...so it might have been half that 15 mins for 135 charms. I dunno where your getting 400 tokens an hour tho, do tell...?

This is where I've been farming Charms. Don't know exactly how many you get there but a lot more than 135 per hour for sure. I've been doing it on my rogue, just standing in the same spot, using a key-presser to spam FoK - just check once every two minutes when the 1.x mil life guy respawns, kicked my character's ass when I didn't pay attention.

135 charms every 15 minutes or so. I'm guessing this because I started doing it after I que'd for an instance and the que is around ~15 mins for dps on my realm. And it popped while i was doing it.

Ah, haha. I've been alone there everytime I went there.
Will check later if they fixed it, last time I did it was around 20 hours ago and it worked fine at that time.

with skiggit you can get that much.

4000 charms / 60 mins = 66.67 charms/min

That is seriously unlikely I believe.

Skiggit is fixed. doesnt work anymore, not on us nor eu.

Go to throne, its the best place around atm, until someone discovers a better one (1k charms/hour, no competition)

I still say that this is a viable method that would even compete with Throne. No competition for the npcs because they're just like the npcs in throne. They don't drop loot, therefore shared credit for anyone who damages them, even 1 damage. 135 charms in 10 mins x 6 = 810 (c/h) / 60 = 13.5 (c/m).
1000 (c/h) / 60 = 16.67 (c/m).
2.5 charms isn't that much of a difference. I'll do a real farm later tonight and test this for certain though.
