I think this was hotfixed. Kind of. Everytime i fight a mob with him now he dies instantly. whereas before he would/could tank sha if needed he had so much hp/defense. Someone else please check just to make sure its not just me.

Nevermind it seems to be working for me alright again... must have done something wierd.

Can you get a suspension for abusing a bug? yes.

Banning? not usually. Unless it directly affects economy.

Unless you are player reported for using it, I highly doubt you have anything to worry about. Tracking its use isn't really possible, as Blizzard does not keep combat logs.

Just be smart - I.E. Do not fly into heavily populated areas and brag about it =p

A King Among Men - Quest - World of Warcraft

I can confirm this works for the alliance quest. I have Varian in Valley of the Four Winds right now. He only does maybe 40-70k a hit though, takes him about 3 seconds to kill a 178k mob, which sucks compared to previous panda-mob quests. (when we were spoiled with XP pwnage exploits). I wonder if we could ever get multiple of him. Most likely not though.

For the record, it was quite difficult to get him to stay with me, I think what finally made it happen was zoning between the subzone and real zone quickly but not going very far into either, but that is just speculation because once he finally stayed with me I looked over and was like "oh damn it is working".


FYI using flight paths just makes him go away, no duplication or anything, Just thought I'd check. Other than that, seems only loading screen will remove him, you can go to any zone it would appear.
