Recently I've been leveling a druid, and decided to do some pvp. I got the queue for WSG, and ended up operating as the team's flag runner on my guardian druid.
I noticed something interesting in terms of defending the flag.
Obviously there are starts that involve spamming AoE or keeping flares up to break stealthers, but I found a way to do it as a Druid with no mana/rage cost.
When you try to swipe in bearform without a target, you get an error. However, in times of a stalemate, you can click on the portrait of the enemy flag carrier. Despite being across the map from each other, you are now able to freely swipe as much as you want --- for zero rage.
I believe its an exploit, as the EFC isn't within melee range, but if not I apologize for posting this. I also don't know if this has any potential uses outside of the scenario I found it in.
But it works great for unstealthing rogues and other druids at low level when you can infininitely spam swipe.
