4x Upgrades on same tier item

Idk if this is the right thing to be postet as it requires a GM.

Thing i did was.
i had a heroic tier leggings token, and upgraded the token twice - then redeemed it, and DE'd it
Did a ticket and got it restored (Now the weird part)
The item was still upgraded twice, but somehow i could do additional 2 upgrades(only did 1 due to not having enough VPs)

So currently, my heroic tier 14 legs have 3 Upgrades.

exactly, well its kind of still a bug/exploit though since the max upgrades you can get is 2, normally.

Tried using the Item Restoration tool blizzard implemented no too long ago? You would avoid the GM interaction then.

No, You can just use the Item Restoration tool, GMs will just check it, you never need to talk to one about it.

And its just not a visual bug, the stats really have increased, i've had to use 750 VPs aswell.

i used blizzards item restoration and it didnt work, feels like OP is lieing
