Just make sure not to turn in the quest, or you will not be able to return to the zone with the mobs.

Some info about this: The starting quest line in the area is Welcome to Dawn's Blossom. However, the NPC (Toya) that gives it doesn't spawn until you pretty much do every main quest line in Jade Forest up to this. So technically, to get the NPC to spawn, it would appear the earlier quest chain begins with The King's Command. Good luck

I do this as a prot paladin and just pull everything with shield and judgement while standing on the end of the platform. After I have most of the room, I only use judgement to pull additional mobs and save shield for the main group for dps (unless I can hit 2 or 3 non-aggro'd mobs with shield)

Seems like this has been fixed .. Only giving 862 xp pr kill at lvl 87 .. on Ravencrest EU

what the **** !!!! I read this article several days ago then start to level my new char to 85 and do all the quests to get here just to know that it has been fixed and only 900exp per kill . T_T

I was just killing these as an 86 warlock. I believe the xp has been fixed though since I was only getting just less than 2k xp per water fiend (no xp anniv item) and they had fair amount of HP.

thanks for the tip! it is truely a great spot for farming exp, especially as a blood dk, got mine from 86-89 in only 4 hours played. would rep if i could!
