I kept my blood spirit after I requested an item restoration

Today, I disenchanted a wrong epic item and I got 1 Sha Crystal et 1 Blood Spirit. I requested an item restoration on battle.net, they gave me my disenchanted item and just removed 1 Sha Crystal. I probably had luck.

If u want to try it, be aware : Active World of Warcraft accounts in good standing (not locked or banned) may use the item restoration web form to restore items on one character once every 30 days. A maximum of 50 items can be restored with each use of the web form.

Exploits that use a GM arent allowed, and you got lucky with a lazy GM that didnt check what you looted from the DE. Thanks for trying to contribute though.

You don't even talk to a GM so I can't see why that is relevant.

You dont talk to a GM with the item restoration dupe exploit either, but it still involves a GM. Ticket = GM response or action.

How do restorations work for disenchanted items?
Disenchanted item restorations must be reviewed by Customer Support. During the review process, any materials gained from disenchanting the item will be removed before the item is restored. If the materials cannot be recovered, restoration of the disenchanted item will not be possible.

When will I receive the restoration for my disenchanted items?
Restorations for disenchanted items will need to be reviewed by Customer Support. A ticket will be automatically submitted through the web form and the restoration will be delivered to your in-game mailbox when the review is complete. The amount of time the review takes will depend on the number of tickets in our queue.

GM's no longer assist with item restorations, it's all manual.

Isn't it kind of a conflict of interest with you being a GM and being on this forum?

tried this today 11/21/12, I did not recieve an instant item restoration, but rather I got a notice on my battle.net support ticket that a service representative will be reviewing the items before they are restored & allow 2 days for the process to take place ... maybe i got real unlucky, maybe it was because i was trying to restore 2 items at once... who knows, i hope others have more luck than i did. when i did not recieve my items instantly as i have in the past i cancelled my ticket rather than trying to talk to a gm or be placed under srutiny from a gm review of my ticket.
