Instant Revered with guild[not working anyways]

Hello fellow ownedcore members.
My guild recently changed server, and i decided to stay on my current server. After a couple of days, i decided to join a new guild, that was today. I went out to farm some rare mobs cross realm(having friends invite me over). I was on Al'akir or Zenedar(don't remember, kept switching between them), and when i got back to my own server after leaving the group, i noticed the guild got 2 legendary weapon achievements. Fangs of the Father and Warglaives of Azzinoth. I congratulated the guild, and checked who was online. Noone else than recently recruited players were online, so i wondered who had reached honored with the guild. I realized, that somehow, i have gotte to revered with the guild, just as i got back to my own server.

I do not know exactly how it happened, but all i can say is; I did not farm any rep with the guild, but somehow i got to revered, even though you start out as being friendly. If anyone can confirm this somehow, it would be awesome. I am going to reproduce this myself, if possible, and going to report back soon


EDIT: As Renzorx pointed out, I was wrong. The reputation doesn't not get reset to friendly, but to the reputation stage below your current one.
However, this can still be used to sell the profession requirements for Working as a Team for the heirloom legs. But not as groundbreaking as i was hoping :'(

Just joined a new guild. This time i was instantly Honored... gonna try some cross-realm'ing and see what happens

You don't lose rep with your guild after joining a new guild anymore.

i was exalted with my old guild, so i clearly did.. you just dont get neutral.. only resets you to friendly, or is supposed to..

and i just joined a new guild. went from revered to honored, this time.

Yes you do. If you're exalted, you start at revered. If you're revered, you start at honored, etc.
However, if you do a server transfer without leaving your guild first, you get to keep whatever reputation you had with your last guild.

This is not a exploit, blizzard changed it. Now when you leave the guild you loose 1 who rep, idk how to say it better so ill explain it.
When you are exualted with your guild, you leave and join another you will be revered. Revered>honored. and so on.

I pretty much just stated that with saying EDIT: As Renzorx pointed out, I was wrong. The reputation doesn't not get reset to friendly, but the reputation stage below your current one
and as i also stated in my latest post, i though you got reset to friendly, not just the stage below your current one.

I got both of those achievements, for the guild "wow army" on Doomhammer-horde on the 29th.
