So after a few people were saying they couldnt see the mantid i decided to try something new, i flew a freind of mine whos lvl 85 into the vale to see if it was something based on quests. as at 85 they wouldnt have unlocked anything with mantid or the vale etc. i parked them into an alcove and they saw the mobs id kill them, he would loot them he managed to make 5 spirits in 35mins.

Just farmed this spot for an hour. Verified, that the daily quest has to be available on your server, you don't have to have the quest, it just has to be that daily that is going on that day, for the place to be phased to have the bugs there. Secondly, farmed it for an hour so far, they dropped about 2 1/2 complete spirits of harmony, and 1 skyshard, and a crapload of greens and lockboxes, so not bad at all.

One thing is that they do aggro you now, I saw in several videos where they would not aggro them, the second you touch them, they will aggro you.

Like blizz always says, Know ur limitations and play within them... in my case as a mage i push them to the limits, till im almost dead... ( invocation / evocation, " including the glyph " ice barrier and Arc expl. and the shadopan do the rest. )

There isn't suposed to be any instant respawns on WoW npcs however when a new expansion releases the mobs have a sick spawn time in the begining so everyone is able to get kills etc for quests. When blizzard do this they somtimes **** up and some spawns are instant and it's not suposed to be like that so YES this is an exploit and it's a guide how to use this specific exploit and what you'll gain out of it.

I dunno if blizz intended anything to do with these specific mantid, but all i know is i think it has something to do with the storyline of the mantid swarm and the shadopan. So it appeares their always in combat, wave after wave

Basically farmed for over an hour, same spot, everything, only got around 3 spirit of harmony(30 motes) not bad of a place, I farmed my black prince rep up here too.

Either there is extreme luck for the other guys, or its been hotfixed on US, cuz I had a world server down at one point this morning.

Pretty sure this has been nerfed, farmed about 30 minutes and I only got 4 motes. Mabye I am very unlucky.

same here,
Before 1pm (local time) - tones of greens, a loot of wool, one or more motes each minute and a shard after 20mins.
After 1pm - gold, just gold nothing else for minutes

Tried 10 minutes more, I got 1 mote. I think we can safely say this has been nerfed unless someone can prove otherwise.

31 motes in over one hour @ EU. Not so bad place to farm those.
