Using instance portals to get under and inside terrain, etc...

Today, I went to the entrance of Mogu'Shan Vaults by myself (aka not in a raid group) and I decided to try something. I dropped my Puntable Marmot and punted myself behind the instance portal. Once inside, I was able to use my flying mount to fly around inside non-instanced MSV and get under the mountains in Kun-Lai Summit. I know this may not sound like much of an exploit, but sometimes getting under terrain is the beginning of an amazing exploit as you would know if you've watched all the RAoV videos!

Hope someone finds this useful. I have elite access but at this point this doesn't seem like something blizzard would go out of their way to fix so if someone uses this info to discover a really good exploit, posting in Elite is fine by me if you don't wanna add it to this thread. Otherwise, just post here. Thanks everyone!

So you place you marmot behind the instance portal, while you stand in front of the instance portal. And then you just punt it? Some more details would be awesome.

Basically you go to a raid instance portal punt marmot through while not in a raid group and profit

I figured it would be pretty self explanatory but my marmot was behind the portal, almost as far back as you can put it but it doesn't have to be right at the very back.... if the back of the targetting reticule is touching the invisible wall, you're good to go. Bind your "Interact with Target" to a free keybind and then just target the marmot and spam the key so you end up kicking yourself behind the portal. Just stand like 5 yards behind the marmot and punt away. Go try it and you'll see how easy it is, It should work with any raid portal (as long as you're not in a raid group) or even a dungeon portal if you're locked out of the instance. It works very similar to the fixed exploit where the marmot could get you through doors. If that's not enough info I will brave the legendary login queue of my server and take a screenshot for you guys. Let me know! Thanks again.

I was confused because as a mage I just blinked back there and hit the invisible wall. I see what you mean now.
