Fun with Fear at Halfhill Market

Pretty sure this is not working as intended.

As you all know, attacking someone at halfhill maket will earn you a quick beatdown by the guards.

However, you can fear people all you want and they wont bother you. I dont see why blizzard would allow this.

It so funny to interfere with the alliance and not allow them to use the vendors! I sat halfhill for awhile just fearing people over and over again.

And then if they get mad and attack you, they die! Its great!

Theyll try to use poly morph, psyfiend, and a ton of other stuff but they all get attacked for it. Except for fear.

Looked around and didnt see it anywhere so i decided to post it.

As a mage ill sit close to where you phase out of town and into your farming area and polymorph people then blink/haul butt to the farm. Once you phase out the guards dont follow you. Rinse, repeat :P

The Paladin's AoE blind doesn't make them mad either. Annoy a dozen of the enemy with a single click.

I'd say that all CC-spells will work, since in Cata blizzard changed them so that CC'ing a mob from a group won't aggro the others. Thus not putting you in combat/aggroing.

Not all CC, Considering mages will get attacked if they decide to polymorph someone. Which is a major form of CC. But it does appear that certain abilities, not just fear, are able to be cast with upsetting the guards.

In some cases this includes the spinning crane kick

Hmmm, I actually tried to fear someone a week ago in the Market and I got my ass handed down by the guards instantly as a Priest with Psychic Scream, so I'm pretty sure that ability is not "immune".

Psychic Scream is not the right fear spell. You'd need a lock with plain old fear to avoid aggroing guards.

Yes you must use the actual ability called "fear." Psychic Scream will not work as aamlord said.
