If people deem your posts are rep worthy they will(remember it their opinion, not yours) asking/begging has much more negative results.
But again, feel free to ask, I'm just trying to let you know how things have been for years around here.

And holding your other stuff as hostage unless you get more rep is worse than asking for it. Sound like a little kid that won't share his toys.....

While I'll probably be told my opinion has no merit because I am not a veteran user, I do agree with what he is saying. While Veteran members know to and generally do give rep where deserved, the majority of members do not.

Thread is a 5 star thread, has over 10,000 views, 159 posts, helped numerous people make hundreds of thousands of gold/mounts/harmony....

And the OP has a grand total of 14 rep. Now I am not sure how much rep he had to start with, but I'll eat my shirt if more than 14 people did not benefit from that thread and the information they put into the guide.

People on this site like to put more effort into "THIS IS A REPOST" messages than they do awarding those who make good contributions.

As for the part about sounding like a kid that wont share his toys.... its more like a kid who wont share his toys because the other kid wont share back (rep)..eventually you stop wanting to share your toys. Understandable.

Look, your opinions aside folks, Asking for rep is against forum policy. for further proof, please check the Ownedcore Handbook.

If you want to make a thread regarding Rep, Do it in offtopic, or in wow-general after getting a moderators OK to do so.

it may well be an issue to discuss, but not in the exploit forums.
