fly and use abilities with any mount and Leyara's Locket

Hi Guys,

This is linked to all the other posts about shapeshifting when cross zoning to fly.

i have found that you can be on any flying mount. If you spam Leyara's Locket when screaming through the gate of stormwind (the point at which u zone out) u fly

this could work with many shapeshifting devices. It works easy for me because I 'freeze' for a second whenever i zone out.

my first attempt must have been very flukey. my arch transformers are being tested but failed so far.

i think it only works with Leyara's Locket. my method is the following:

Mount up on Flameward Hippogryph
face stormwind gates from elewyn forest
fly towards stormwind
wait for the talk channels to change to stormwind and then count one second before using Leyara's Locket hit it twice in quick succession for extra measure.

Hopefully the locket wont have been used and u will dismount flying through the air. enjoy

I am starting to think that the wintergrasp flying trick for lichborne and elixers is completely tied into the cross realm dismount bug. can anyone think of any other area that dismounts u and realm changes u at the same time? if so then the elixer and lichborne may work there too.

Getting 'You are mounted.' message now when trying to use the locket.

I think they've fixed every transformation item to not be used while mounted. So now its WG and Lichborne.

all methods still work fine you just dont have auto dismount enabled.
