[PTR / Beta] Secondary Stat Stacking

THIS ONLY WORKS ON PTR AND BETA SERVERS!

Basically, all you have to do here is find a zone boundary (like from orgrimmar to durotar, stormwind to elwynn forest, Z zone to Y Zone, etc etc) and just keep quickly switching zones. If you have your character screen up, you should observe pretty much any secondary stats you have currently on your gear get readded every ~5 seconds!



Two major things about this though, any spells / auras that increase such said stacked stats (like a mastery proc trinket or a cooldown) will cause stats to reset. Stats also resets on zone change

EDIT: Seems like changing instances / worlds fixes it.

So quickly run between Durotar/Orgrimmar? Doesn't seem to work for me, neither on the beta nor on the PTR

This have something to do with the cross-realm zones. After you "spawn" in the new phase you will get extra stats. Especially the spell power is effected by this exploit.

Works on live as well. only last about a minute tho. Server catches up still nice to duel somebody as disc with a 3million bubble .

Heh, really? Wow. If it works on live, I don't see why it wouldn't work the same as the PTR version of the bug. Just remember to not use / do anything that increases your bugged stats.

On the PTR I'm able to keep the bugged stats for aslong as I don't change instances.

Can't get it to work on live, tried inviting myself to other realms on a different toon, and it won't phase me. Tried zoning between Elwyn and Stormwind, it says I have 100k spellpower, but it doesn't actually increase.

Well, if it says you have 100k spell power, it must of been increasing at some point... This isn't a clientside glitch too, you should be actually hitting harder as well.

Changed the title, apparently getting reports its working on live too... would test myself, but I don't want to get ban hammered ;_;

It only says it in the GUI, my spells still hit at normal strength, they're not any stronger. Stats rapidly multiplying - Forums - World of Warcraft - Tried copying this here, couldn't get my haste/crit to stack on any of my toons. Also tried inviting myself to a group and and passing leader between 4 different realms and it wasn't phasing me. Couldn't get it to stack that way.

Hmmmmm... guess the spellpower value isn't true, but I know mastery / crit / haste was acting wonky, as I was able to solo the level 90 king varian on a demo warlock on the PTR servers.

EDIT: Tested it on live, couldn't get it to work... I guess live servers have some sort of protection against stat duping such as this.

(Could increase spellpower that was listed on my character sheet, no actual effect on my spells. Couldn't increase haste / mastery / crit AT ALL)
