looks like this has been fixed, you can leave and get the loot if they kill it, but then saves you. or at least does for me.

Join at morchok and leave is the only time you'll get the debuff, the rest is wide open for leaving and receiving the bag

I just joined for the first boss right now, Morchok, and it worked fine. I did not get the debuff and I got the loot in the mail afterwards. I was there from the start and killed trash first, perhaps that did a difference.

Edit: Also, did not get saved.

I did this a few times last night before going to bed and it seems to have been hotfixed.

I did get some hot raid finder loot got a trinket and a ring for healing but it ended up saving me to the bosses. Though I have to admit only having to do some damage to the boss and or healing some players through damage and leaving saves me a 6min+ fight lol.

its not working anymore us korgath, i join the raid, hit the boss a few times and heal, then leave. after i get the mail it says im locked when i look over the triangle where it shows what bosses your locked to

Yeah wish it had lasted longer lol. There will be a new way soon in MoP like all expansions.

Tried, after they've killed them I got a bag with 25Gold (No ID).. But doing this only for 25g?

You will still get item depending on RNG but now you will get locked out of the boss.

Alot of people I know tested this, including me and we got saved. Playing on EU servers.

Seems to be fixed. It does give you the satchel in the mail but it actually saves you for that fight as well. Will keep testing tho.

i did it 2 times. so: 1st time i got the mail with bag (25g) after relog
and 2nd time i got nothing (but maybe they didnt kill the boss)
I not saved for LFR
But its not reason only for 25g

You tryed this and u was not saved?
But after u leaved, and ur raid killed it... dident you get saved by that boss?
