X-Realm Mount Farming

I have recently been using the Cross Realm feature to do World PvP. If you don't know how to utilize this feature for World PvP go here: http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...-you-want.html (EPIC X-Realm zone PVP EXPLOIT - Kill players from any server you want!)

Anyway, I realized that while in these groups you could get some productive farming done while the other people in the raid are switching leader in order to switch servers. I know this works because I have been in Deepholm while in a raid with a leader that was on a different server, Kilrogg to be specific, and I switched to that realm when the raid was formed.

So basically the idea is that while you are in a raid that is doing Cross Realm PvP you are realm hopping to see if Aeonaxx or TLPD has spawned on a different server. This could be counter productive, there is a small chance that the rare spawns could spawn on your home server but it's definitely something worth trying.

What mounts would this help you get? not bashing your idea i just want to use it.

also does the toon have to be in the area for it to cross zone you?

Damn, really thought this was common sense rather than an exploit. Someone should make a single post in guides with all the neat things you can do with this xrealm stuff, just so we don't see 50 posts about it.

Aeonaxx and TLPD and no they can be anywhere. Even in a Battleground. As long as you're in a party or raid.

Been using this the past few days, was hoping it would be longer before half of the wow community found out. Oh well, will post another awesome thing you can do with cross realm merging later on when I get a chance to upload a video to youtube thats been sitting on my hard drive all day.

The big ones are already over pupulated. thats why.

btw, i dont think that the system has to do something with the population, its there so you can play together with your crossrealm friends

As far I can tell from the other threads EU doesn't work yet.

i thought only certin areas of certin zones were x-realm so how i can i be farming aeonaxx for instance if the area isnt x-realm?
