Like someone stated before, I'm pretty sure that the second toon you log in with must NOT have logged in after the patch at all. I wanted to try this with my druid and my rogue (both logged in after patch) and it didn't work. But then I did the 2nd login with my mage instead of my rogue (mage wasn't played for a pretty long time) and boom... 100k achievement was mine. Sad, because the mage only had like 10k HK and I was already at 95k with my druid, while my rogue had sth like 60k more .

Btw I don't find it an exploit, since all the kills were legit (doing this multiple times didn't add more kills for me). So, since the achievement is account based, the HKs should be too imo.

Edit: Confirmed this on a 3rd toon. All this does is sum up the kills from all of your toons and make them count for the achievements. Good find nevertheless. If you have HKs split between many toons it's an easy way to get the achievement and title that you actually deserve.

yea the summing up is normal

the bug was it would stack constanting regardless of how many times you logged toon

So.. You log into the first game on the character that has a lot of HK's. When the loader is at 80% you log into your account in the second WoW-window. This of course disconnects the first one.

.. what do you do with the 2nd window of wow with the character you havent yet logged in? DC that too?

As the 10 pages so far pointed quit clear out, this is not an exploit / bug, but just works as intended. All of the DC, log on log off tips just don´t work...

Might be a little late, But yes this did work for me, got like maybe 90k HKs in total but got bloodthirsty title, And this was during release day.
