Easy experience (15-19)

Basically there is a quest in Azshara called "Absorbent" Quest:Absorbent - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft . This quest comes from a murloc named Ergll and grants you a buff called "Spongy" which instantly kills these water elementals for the quest. If you tag these mobs (damage them first) before they get close enough to be absorbed you get full experience and loot from them when they do get absorbed.
There are loads of these mobs and nobody is doing this quest atm so its fairly easy experience.

I know its not much of an exploit but its definitly not working as intended.

I find this more like a guide becouse the quest item is working as intended to slay elementals. But still good find

good find. i like stuff like this. its weird, if this stuff happens at level 80-85 its a huge exploit and everyone jumps on the bandwagon but at level 15-19 its just considered a "guide"

its right, that the quest is working as intended. but the exploit is, that he gets full exp from killing them, even though he only did little damage. I would consider this an exploit.
