FP Bug for Alliance - Eastern Kingdoms (no control)

Hey guys !

I just found a little trick with the quest Further Concerns, one of the very first quests in Elwynn Forest. When you accept this quest, you have the opportunity to get a free ride directly to Guard Thomas by speaking to Marshal Dughan.

How to exploit :

1- Place your Hearthstone anywhere in Eastern Kingdoms (Quel'danas seems to be the only exception for some reasons)
2- Speak to Dughan, you now have a little bubble with "I'd like to,etc".
3- This bubble is called GossipTitleButtonX, X can vary depending on how much quests you've filled. If you haven't done any it's 4, I suggest trying numbers from 1 to 4 until you find the good one. Create a macro with /click GossipTitleButtonX and get a D/C macro
4- Cast your Hearthstone. At the end of the cast (in the last half second) use the click macro and immediately DC. The Hearthstone cast must freeze with less than 0.15 seconds left, or better right at the end (green bar)
5- Reconnect, you are on a flying horse and brought back to Elwynn.

However the downsides is that I haven't found a way to get control of this FP (probably because we stay in EK) and it does not work with BG (or anything instanced) or cross-continents. But i'm not an expert with exploiting so maybe someone else could find something to do with this.
Something interesting is that everything is "delayed" while you fly. F.x if you cross water you won't get a breathe bar right off but something like 5 minutes later. Same with lava dmg. And when you arrive at Goldshire your horse runs on the spot for almost 3 minutes, and during these 3 min there's no NPC. After that everything is back to normal and you are sent on the regular FP.

I recorded a raw video but as this exploit is not very useful atm I won't post it (unless someone asks for it) but here's some screenshots

Thats really interesting, I was working on that quest myself. I will defintely try this out and see if i cant come up with something... The fact that NPCs are not there is really interesting.

Yup, it's like you have 3min of lag during the whole ride. I took damage from a lava pool located in Searing Gorge when I was under Northshire Abbey.
Another interesting fact : during the ride, if you DC and stay offline long enough (1 min approx.) when you log back you fall off your mount and regain control of your character. May be useful to gain access to some zones, however I guess they may be be a faster way.
So maybe it has something to do with server sync, too bad it does not work for Quel'danas ... Ghostlands portal maybe ?

I got again a few informations !

1- You don't need to DC to do the trick, just use the click macro in the last tenth second of HS cast, just before loading screen. Nothing groundbreaking but it makes this trick easier and faster. We can now see that just after being ported the horse pops and we jump on it.
2- If you disconnect (no DC macro) and reconnect you'll fall off the horse.

EDIT: Okay, wierd. If you don't DC before being ported, you have NO lag. You get breathe bars and lava dps as soon as you enter the pools, Goldshire is not buggy, I even aggro'ed a lvl 9 spider on the way back. Questions is : why DC before teleport is causing such a lag ?

EDIT 2 : WORKS WITH HGWT !! yeah sorry for caps but I'm truly happy for it. You just need a /click StaticPopup1Button1 macro, and you must take the flight path then accept the port. This is becoming better and better However it definitely does not work with Tol Barad, Hyjal, Dragon Soul or Deepholm

EDIT 3 : I just HGWT'ed my alt in Tirisfal Glades but unfortunately I died because of fatigue at Wetlands level
