Because for me dropbox is much more convienent? Drag and drop into my dropbox folder on my computer, and it automatically gets uploaded onto dropboxs servers.

If you're so paranoid about the link, just head to the top of the uninstanced gate of the setting sun, and look for the horde / alliance banners.

Pretty typical in BETA/PTR environments to give gear away for free so people can test things more accurately/easily. Thx for adding something but don't really see how this is an exploit.

If they were, I would think they would of mentioned something about it on the forums. But no blue posts on the subject have appeared, making me think this is most likely unintended.

It is probably intended, it would be stupid not to test the PvP gear compared to the base resilience other players would get and see if this is balanced enough. If you don't give people the tools they needed to test PvP gear then whats the point. It is intended that this gear be given out for free to see if they needed to adjust a few things.

They don't make a blue post on every single Beta change in the game... it's pretty standard in PTR and all 3 previous betas to give PVP gear for free.

Like I said, it's normal BETA/PTR activity to give gear for free for testing.
