Cant do it anymore.They messed up energy regen with the next patch so now when you use your opener you only get a portion of energy no matter when you time it.Plus its not possible to get off 2 backstabs while your opponent is cheap shotted, 100-40+20=80-backstab=20+20=40 and your opponent is out.

If timed right, cheap shot will only cost you 20 energy, that's what this thread is all about. Timing it so you perform your attack just before the tick. By the time cheap shot wears out, you've just gotten up to 60 again and you will be able to perform it before he turns around.

Sorry i misread it.But it still isnt possible to do unless they fix the energy bug with the next patch.

I do it all the time when playing on my rogue alt. There's no bug. Just make sure you have a rogue ticker addon to help you with the timing.

This still works, But you can't kill a clothie with in a ambush backstab. Cruse you resilience cruse you.

Cheap shot doesn't 'cost' 20 energy. It takes 40 energy, recovers 20, and allows you to sinister strike 2 times. It's not like it immeidiatly jumps back up, at the end you're just using the same sinister strike early, then sitting there doing nothing because you have to wait 2 ticks for your energy to come back.

Instead of:

CS-SS wait 2, SS, continue
You're just getting CS-SS,SS, wait 4, continue
