If you create a new character and level it up to 20, you can learn and use the mount before learning the riding skill. However, when you are lvl 40 and you want to get the lvl 40 training skill, you can't since the game thinks that you don't have the lvl 20 riding skill yet. The lvl 20 riding skill is unlocked in spellbook but it still says that "You can now learn to ride ground mounts. You'll need to find a riding trainer for your race and then purchase a mount." I tested this with a wlock.

This is because the riding skill is automatically learned as a warlock or paladin upon reaching level 20.

Warlocks get the riding skill with class mount, wich is a spell trained at warlock trainer.

Can u explain then why I still cant learn Jorneyman riding even when im lvl 42?
the spellbook says that I can go learn it, but when Im trying to buy it from wlock trainer, it shows as unavailable

Because you don't learn the riding skill from your warlock trainer.

Find your race's riding trainer, then go back to your class trainer to learn your level 40 mount.

i think this is still a useful exploit. i noticed this happening with worgens hitting lvl 20 inside WSG and then gaining the ability to use running wild without even training. i dont think that is considered working as intended.

You'd better be serious....

Worgens learn running wild at level 20 automatically. . .as well as the riding skill.

Yea, that's what I was saying. But the only use for this would be when you ding lvl 20 inside of a WSG battle and everyone else still has to run around on foot. Any worgen get the riding skill, and I guess and paladin or warlock could also use this if they had a tyraels charger in their inventory. I used this same "exploit" with the celestial steed.

So basically, its not the mount that cases it to happen, its the class/race. Having the mount in the inventory just lets you use a mount in a lvl 15-19 BG for one battle that you ding lvl 20 mid BG.

If your class/race automatically receives riding when they learn a mount, then it is not an exploit.
